ipsy Glam Bag | June 2016

Today I want to share my June ipsy bag with you! This month’s theme was all about the rebel. The bag was a bright colored graffiti pattern that is very attractive to the eyes! The bags have been one or 2 colors lately so this burst of brightness is a nice switch up. Now for what’s inside:

The first product that caught my eye kind of shocked me! It was an Urban Decay eye shadow. Yeah, exactly. The shadow is a gorgeous iridescent shadow with brown, copper, and teal tones. It makes me want to experiment with eye shadow more as I tend to always play it safe. This gorgeous shade is called “lounge” and it retails for $19.00 full sized. While this one is small, it is a good size and is magnetic so it can go in a Z palette!

The second product I received is the Illuminating Baked Highlighter from the brand Dirty Little Secret. I’ve never heard of this brand but I’m always excited to try new things. The shade I got is called Bellisima. I think this would make a gorgeous blush topper for that perfect summer glow! This highlighter costs about $9.00.

I also received a Formula X nail polish in the shade Wingwoman. I love getting nail polishes now that it’s summer because I’m always painting my nails. This is definitely a bright red that reminds me of a watermelon. It’s a great summery red. I tried it out right away and the formula is very shiny and hasn’t chipped on me yet! I’ve been wearing it for about a week. Loving it so far! It can be found at Sephora full size for $10.50.

In my glam bag this month I got two lip products. The first is by Liptini. It is their cream lip color in Pinktini. This is a cute product. I’m not sure I’ll get much use out of it though. I don’t prefer lip products in a pan they just remind me of “dress up” makeup I would use as a kid. Have any of you tried this? Let me know if it is any good. It retails for $12.

So this last product is definitely one of the most interesting products I’ve ever encountered. At first glance I thought it was a simple lip balm. After looking it up, it claims to have over 21 uses! This is called the Everything Balm from Delectable by Cake Beauty. This brand can be found at Target and costs somewhere around $10. This balm can supposedly be used on your lips, as a moisturizing skin balm, on your cuticles, split ends, and more! I have not tried it out yet but I’m very interested to see how this will work out. If it’s really as good as it claims to be it could be a game changer!

That is everything I received in my bag this month! I’m yet again impressed overall. For $10 a month you really can’t beat it. I am however thinking about switching over to Boxy Charm for a few months just to obtain more full sized products. What do you guys think? It’s a bit more expensive at $21 a month but I’ve seen and heard such great things! Let me know your favorite beauty subscription in the comments below!
